GRK1896 Excursion to the World’s Largest CT Factory located at Siemens Healthineers in Forchheim
This term’s regular GRK seminar started with an excursion to the largest CT factory in the world. The GRK1896 members got insight into the assembling steps from the on short notice delivery from an logistic partner of the individual parts towards the final product in the Siemens Healthineers factory located in Forchheim. Besides an overall impressive picture, quite some detailed information about the different CT configurations from the source towards the detector was provided.
